JEFFERY GERARD VARDON
JEFFERY VARDON has made Chennai proud in the dance and fitness arena.
A qualified dancer trained and certified by the Russian Ballet School "GALINA ULANOVA SCHOOL OF BALLET" with exchange programmes at the LININGRAD BALLET RUSSIA under the style skeshiti, was the lead dance of the school for 5 years. He was then appointed as an instructor at the GALINA ULANOVA SCHOOL OF BALLET, Chennai India and was employed there for five years.
He then moved on to modern dancing where he worked with the VICTORIAN DANCE COMPANY, Melbourne, Australia. He mastered styles like Jazz, Tap Dancing, Theatre Dance and Latin American Styles which include Jive, Cuban Rhumba, Brazilian Samba, Cha Cha, Passo Doble.
Jeffery is fascinated with Salsa and his interest for rare and beautiful movement has caused him to master the technique which he learnt at Sway Dance in Melbourne, Australia.
He worked with the Imlata Dance Company U.K on contemporary styles and has shared stages with many popular contemporary artists. Jeffery's collaboration with the famous Barathnatyam Dancer Anitha Ratnam lead him to complete his Arangetram in Barathnatyam.
He is now an Associate of the United Kingdom Alliance of Professional Teachers of Dancing (U.K).
Jeffery believes that Dance and Fitness go together. He is a trained and Certified Reebok Trainer which qualifies him to conduct group fitness classes like Aerobics, Kick Boxing, Dancercise and Cross Training classes.
After being trained by "Sparc", A body of fitness consultants. Jeffery is now a Personal Trainer to celebrities and the most sought after in Chennai - He does Gym Classes and out door activities. His Aqua Aerobics classes are very popular and won, him wide acclaim.
Jeffery is the Fitness Consultant and Trainer for the Miss Chennai Beauty Pegeant and has been associated with the event for the last six years. Jeffery's keen eye for perfection, lead him to be highly qualified and certified Dance Choreographer and personal trainer.
The Dance that believes that his art has something to say which cannot be expressed in words or in any other than dancing…. There are times when the simple dignity of movement can fulfil the function of a volume of words. There are movements which impinge upon the nerves with a strength that is incomparable, for movement has power to stir the senses and emotions, unique in itself.
